Sony WH-1000x series is one of the most outstanding higher budget headphone in the market. The advertisement itself is pretty straight forward, they showed the people wearing it and the headphone's latest technology which includes the noise cancelling, AI feature that can adjust the headphone's volume based on the users' surrounding.
REPRESENTATION
The media represent that everyone does need some 'me-time' especially after working, but not all of them have time to have it, and that product is the solution for them. The headphone can be cancel the surrounding noise so we can have an instant 'me-time' anywhere, and it also has features that make us still aware of our environment.
AUDIENCE
The targeted audience of this ad is the middle working class people that like music but rarely have free time but still want to enjoy and live a happy life in the middle of their busy schedule .
INDUSTRY
Lately, Headphone brand like apple, Aony, Audio Technica compete to add noiseless, and other AI powered smart feature in their higher end product range. for example; sony with their WH series, apple with their airpod lines, etc...
THINGS I DO NOT LIKE FROM THIS ADVERT
The overall video is pretty straight forward. There's no 'hook'I could found that makes it stand out/memorable from the other headphone advertisement.
